Back to the work-grind

I'm back from the coast and heading back to work tomorrow. I had a good time at the beach (despite constant bickering with my little brother) and it was nice to get away for a few days. We had three small dogs and four people in our little cabin, so it was a tight squeeze but nice to have Miss Rennie with me while down there.

The only real negative about this last week is a problem that has developed with my low back: namely, it hurts. Like a mo-fo. I had an appointment on Monday with the chiropractor and that helped some, but it's taken a turn for the worse today and is sending shooting pains down my right leg. I'm stretching and resting and icing and taking ibuprofin like a madwoman with the hope that it will resolve on its own. I suspect I'll need another visit to the chiropractor, which is not making me all that happy. Sigh.

Anyway, I'm hurting, so this is going to be the extent of this post. Things are mostly good otherwise and (I think) I'm ready to get back to work. We shall see, though. I hope everyone's well!

hope your first day back to work went okay!
xx

Glad you have a nice vacation and that you are ready to work again. I never seem ready to work...

Hope the back improves soon.
