Off to feed the kitty
So I'm going over to the house of a friend of a friend to play poker tonight, hence the early posting! I have this funny feeling I'm going to be out quite late eating guacamole (made by yours truly) and chili cheese dip that has been characterized as "evil" by several folks who will be attending.
I promise to report back on my day tomorrow, because it involved celebrating my 2-year sobriety anniversary and also a rather-more-successful attempt to find a bra that fits me. For you ladies out there who have, um, boobies that are on the larger size, Nordstrom is a lovely place to spend lots of money. They have a much bigger selection than Macy's, and on top of that, they have lovely sales-ladies who run back and forth between the dressing room and the floor to pick you up different sizes and styles.
(In a slight twist, however, I was asked some version of "are you finding everything ok?" by no fewer than 6 different salespeople this morning. I appreciate being acknowledged as much as the next person, but sheesh! Six people!? By the time the last clerk asked me I wanted to yell, YES! I'm being helped ALREADY. LEAVE ME ALONE!")
Anyway, I ended up getting this bra, which - as it turns out - is also "Oprah's Favorite Bra." Wow. Isn't that exciting? I now have something in common with Oprah. Woo!
I also recently discovered this site called FigLeaves.com. I understand they have some great sales, so while trying on the 20-some-odd bras this morning, I took copious notes of which ones fit well and those that didn't, along with other details. So perhaps now I can just get the majority of my undergarments online. At nearly $70 a pop, getting a discount of any kind is going to be helpful. Yipes.
And now I must get going, lest I miss out on the first round of chili cheese dip. Happy Saturday, everyone!!

glad you got a bra you like - I went shopping today & attempted to get one, but couldn't find any I liked & nobody asked me if I wanted help & I wanted some (and actually couldn't even find them when I went looking so I gave up & bought a few tops instead - LOL)
