So remember how I was dating Gil before and then we broke up after a few weeks for a variety of reasons I couldn't talk about?

Yeah, we broke up. AGAIN. I'd write more about the finer details, but a) they really don't matter and b) I really don't want to talk about it. (If you're surmising that this was not my idea, you are very smart indeed.)
And I am DONE. D.O.N.E. DONE DONE DONE. Over, finished, NO MORE DATING EVER.
Leastwise, no more dating Gil. I know they say the "third time's a charm" but in this case I don't think a third opportunity for him to dump me is going to be forthcoming.
I must have done something really wrong in my previous dating life because Karma is surely kicking me around something fierce now. Grr...
If you need me, I'll be over here eating Ben & Jerry's, watching Little House on the Prairie and licking my wounds.

don't let gil ruin it for the rest of the guys! the rule is, you can't swear off dating until after four pints of ice cream, 3 nights vegging out in front of the tv, two good runs, and one night out with "the girls."

This I know. You have such a good heart that you gave it another shot. And you have such strength that you know to NOT put yourself through trying a third time. Many folks can't be open to 2nd chances & many folks don't know when to have some damn boundaries.
You do. You are strong yet willing. Open yet smart. I think that's part of what makes you so beautiful!
He doesn't know how good he had it!
