Anyone willing to just chop off my head?
Because I believe that might be the only cure for this gawd-awful migraine headache that's been plaguing me since early afternoon.
I did manage to a) bathe the dog, b) do a little homework c) start the laundry and d) disinfect the garbage can (don't ask...) before the migraine (and its accompanying nausea and light sensitivity) hit with full force and I was obliged to go to bed and stick my head under the covers. I'm seriously considering purchasing a window covering for the bedrom that blocks all light, just for such occasions.
It's been a fairly quiet weekend. As anticipated, I didn't make it to Portland Fit on Saturday morning. Instead I did a lot of sleeping and then spent the rest of the day working on my school project. I'm pleased with the results so far - as soon as it's finished I'll post a link.
The MS symptoms don't seem to have gotten worse over the weekend so that's something... going to try to get a lot of rest over the next week to help compensate for the crazy work days I expect I'll have this week. My anticipated schedule for the next 5 days: sleep, work, sleep, work, sleep, work, go to AA meeting, sleep some more, work some more, do a little homework, go back to sleep, go back to work. Whee!
If you call and I don't answer it's because I'm sleeping. Or working. Or chopping off my head.
Yesterday evening I went with my mom to see my little sister in her high school musical, Disney's High School Musical. My sister goes to the same high school I went to, 15 years ago now (yipes!) and it's been about that long since I last sat in that auditorium in the world's most uncomfortable seats. (By the end of the show my butt had fallen asleep.)
I am a fan of musicals - The Music Man and Anything Goes are two of my favorites - but I have to say that this one ... well... it just didn't do anything for me. That's not to say the kids didn't do a good job - they did. The singing was pretty good (for the most part) as was the dancing. But they did a good job in spite of the banal material. There were some humorous moments but, by and large, I just wasn't impressed by the the book or the music. So... there you go. It was cool to see my little sis on stage, though, and the three of us went out for ice cream afterwards.
So that's been my weekend; nothing earth-shattering and at least half of it was good. :) I hope everyone else's was pleasant.
(Oh, and I understand from my mom that I'm not imagining things with regard to the dogwood trees in this area - apparently they're glorious this year; much more so than normal! I will be dragging out my camera and taking a few pics!)

Now, I've been known to offer to various "nursing" responsibilities for friends (don't ask...none involved rectal probing), but chopping off someone's head is just out of my area of expertise...
Sorry...LOL

Glad you had some good aspects to your weekend - my work has been crazy busy as well & I had thought to spend the weekend sleeping but apparently that just wasn't in the cards, but the way it all worked out was fantastic - will blog it later today (hopefully)

I know you have allergy issues like me so you might want to be careful about what cleaning products you are using. I've had many a migraine brought on by some of the cleaning products I've used. Sorry to hear you're not feeling well!
