Sending My Desires to the Universe

It's amazing how posting stuff on the innernets gets people to bring you stuff. I posted that I loved Marshmallow Peeps and yesterday, dad brought some over! How cool!

On the "less than cool" front, I still haven't heard from River. Boo. I don't know what that means, if anything. It might mean he hates me. It also might mean he's been busy. Or got called for a last-minute job. Or that he likes me but not in that "must see you every day!" sort of way. It's really hard to say. So I'm trying not to worry about it. Frankly, I'm not sure exactly how I feel about him either, so I suppose it's useless to speculate.

Maybe, if I could go more than a day in a row without some sort of malady, I'd give him a call and see if we could get together....

Anyway, given the above Amazing Marshmallow Peeps Appearance Phenomenon, I've decided to ask the internet for more things I want. Read on!

Dear Internet,

Yesterday you sent me Marshmallow Peeps after my merely mentioning that I think they're really cool. So, I've decided I should tell you some more about things I think are cool, just in case you - you know - feel the need to send them my way:

1) Winning the lottery. That would be WAY cool. Several million bucks or so would do quite nicely.
2) Miraculously finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis and/or AIDS and/or ALS and/or Cancer and/or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and/or any other disease that renders people miserable and/or dead.
3) Getting rid of my migraines completely. How cool would that be?
4) World Peace. Cuz I'm the kind of person who wants happiness for everyone.
5) George Bush AND Dick Cheney being impeached/killed or otherwise somehow removed from office. Because then, we get Nancy Pelosi for president. A democrat AND a woman.
6) I could really use a rug for my front room. An 8'x10' (or so) rug would be nifty.
7) I'd really like to get my Brahms Rhapsody (Op. 79 #2) back under my fingers and memorized sooner rather than later. Would be cool.
8) A dresser for my bedroom. One that looks sort of like this would be swell. Because right now, all my jammies and underwear and bras and socks and stuff are on the shelf in my closet which, while ok, is not terribly convenient.

In advance, Universe: thanks!!

Love,
Zee
