A Lovely Day... (Note Sarcasm, Please)
Well, it's just been a lovely, enjoyable day today!
I awoke this morning around 7ish, got up quickly and took a shower... I knew I had to get up fairly early because I had Colin's memorial service today and I was taking about 3 hours off in the middle of the day. So I got in the shower and of course, I had a horrible time waking up and felt sick to my stomach and by the time I was done with the shower I was just exhausted and dizzy and woozy. Great. Jussttt great. I really love MS!
So I laid down on the bed for just a bit to rest; by the time I woke up again it was 9:15 and my wet hair was plastered to my head. But I got back up anyway, turned on the coffee pot and tried to unload the dishwasher.
Tried, I say, because I could not get the darned thing to open! The handle was stuck, in some way, so I had to basically pry it open and then... well, then I couldn't get it to stay shut. GAH. So I called and left the landlady (mom!) a voicemail about the problem.
So then things went ok until I left home and headed for the memorial.
I was headed over the Hawthorne Bridge and driving along my merry way and just as it was taking my picture I noticed one of those stupid-ass radar-photo-van things the police set up sometimes. GAH!!!!!!! I think I was going about 40 and the speed limit on the bridge is ~35? Ish? Maybe? I don't know. I do know the stupid thing took my picture, though, and I'd guess I'm going to be getting... something...in the mail.
I did manage to make it to the service on time and get a good seat. It was a lovely service and I did a bit of crying. It was really nice, too, to see a bunch of my running pals and catch up with folks a little bit. I even got an invite to a party!
So life isn't all bad. I made it home without further incident and even managed to send off the report I was working on a bit early to the client.
Still, feeling ill, a broken dishwasher, a funeral AND a speeding ticket in one day... Seriously? That's the last time I ask the Internet for anything. Sheesh!

I wouldn't worry, sounds like you were going too fast for the picture to come out :-)
