The vet called a couple hours ago. Miss Rennie is continuing to rest comfortably and, though apparently bored, she is being a good girl. She is not, however, ready to come home yet.

The diarrhea has apparently stopped and Dr. Fred is continuing to give her fluids. He has also started her on small amounts of dry food to see how her body will tolerate it. I should imagine she's starving, but whatever. (He's the one who's got to listen to her whine and bark at this point. :) Anyway, assuming nothing goes wrong between now and then, I should be able to pick her up tomorrow afternoon.

Have I mentioned I miss my pooch? Thank heavens I get to bring her home soon. It's too darned quiet around here!
