Starting the Redesign Process

This afternoon, when I had a couple spare minutes before I had to leave for an appointment in Lake O, I started sketching out a plan for my website and blog. I'm still going to use rathnait.net and the blog address won't change (at least, I'm not planning on that at this point) but the site will also include a photo album page, along with dedicated pages for Rennie, knitting and cooking. And, when the time is right, I'll add in a 'professional endeavors' page, complete with a gallery of websites I've designed.

The caveat here, of course, is that I have a very clear idea of what I want for my site, but not a very good idea of how I'm going to get it that way. The Movable Type design? That I can do, no problem. It's designing everything else that's a bit foggy at the moment. But have no fear, eventually I'll wrangle my site design into submission. For now, though, I'm creating a 'Pie in the Sky" concept that will be refined later.
