Well, I've finally sat down and tackled it. The redesign is finished. Yahoo! I added a list of my frequent reads, put the calendar feature back in, and updated my blogroll. So far I'm liking how it turned out, with the exception of a couple minor tweaks that I need to address.

One thing I would like to do is create customized templates for specific categories. So, if a person chooses the category "Knitting," for example, they'll get the blog posts I've written about knitting, plus knitting-related content in the side bar. If they choose Miss Yorkie Princess, they'll get a page with Rennie-related posts and canine-related side bar content. I'm sure there's got to be a way to do this with Movable Type, but as yet I haven't had the time or energy to figure it out. If anyone has any bright ideas or websites that do, please share!
