Go Visit DogBlog

In my blog-surfing and procrastination this morning, I ran across this blog. The general premise is, this guy walks around San Francisco and takes pictures of dogs tied to stuff. Then, he posts the pictures with his commentary. Some pretty funny stuff here. And some cute dogs. There are some ugly dogs too, so don't say I didn't warn you.

My own dog, for the record, is currently lying between the stereo speaker and the wall, soaking up the heat from the heating vent:

Hi Zee! Your Yorkie! Sooooo cute! Aren't they the sweetest? We had a Yorkie when I was growing up, then we moved out of the country and couldn't take her (boo-hoo!). Then when my parents moved back to the States, they got TWO -- brother and sister. Then my dad's company transferred him overseas AGAIN, and my mom gave them to my aunt, so at least they stayed in the family! I love them, they are such cute and nice dogs. Your Rennie looks like a sweetie.

Ahem, got a little distracted by the cuteness. Throwing. You are a thrower if you hold the yarn in your right hand while you are knitting. (Unless you're left-handed, I guess.) If you move the yarn over the working needle with your hand, that's throwing (or English style). If you just hold the yarn there in your left hand and use the tip of the working needle to "grab" the yarn and pull it through, that's picking (or Continental style). Does that help? :)
