Busy Busy Busy
Well. I'm busy these days. Ack!
Seriously. School and lots of work coming my way and trying to keep up with dog grooming and attention-giving and the like. I'm exhausted.
I was all set yesterday, even, to post longly and eloquently about how it was one year ago today (yesterday) that I was starting my new job in Boston and how momentus and exciting and scary and whatnot it was. But by the time I got home it was 9:30 and there was homework and dishes to do and all I wanted was just to go to bed.
Of course, once I did go to bed I couldn't sleep, but that's beside the point. The point is, I'm busy. And will continue to be so for the foreseeable future. There is lots of busy-ness going on. A plethora of busy-ness. Scads.
And, because apparently I'm not quite busy enough with only 15-20 hours of work each week, I'm hoping to nail a full-time job next week (cross fingers!) Details will be forthcoming if I indeed get it. And if I don't? Just forget I mentioned it.
In the meantime, I'm heading north tomorrow to visit wth The Conductor for the day. Generally, I'm going to try to forget about my life for a little while and just enjoy spending time with a good friend. And barring that, maybe I'll get to drink some good wine.
So I'll be posting again really soon - there are some sentiments and nostalgia that need expressing, after all. It's just that I'm too brain-dead at the moment to adequately express them.
That, and the dog peed on my bed.
This dog ownership thing? Not all it's cracked up to be. [sigh.]
