At Last, Settled...
Yesterday morning around 9 a.m., the movers finally showed up with my stuff. Although Gentle Giant told me my belongings would arrive 12 to 14 business days after pick up, it was actually closer to 4 full weeks. But my stuff arrived yesterday safe and sound, with the exception of 4 broken glasses.
So I now have all my clothes (hooray!) and my pokey-little-puppy computer is set up and happily humming along in my tiny bedroom. After almost a month of using my dad's iMac, I'm forever pointing my mouse at the upper left corner to close windows instead of heading to the upper right to click on the big red Windows XP X. And, much to my surprise, last night I set up my Microsoft Broadband Networking 802.11b wireless network without a single problem, even though the network's primary computer is a Macintosh.
And aside from feeling really awful yesterday - I spent much of the day sleeping - I was still able to do a lot of unpacking. I have a lot of ironing ahead of me.

Whooo-hoo!! Glad to hear you now have all of your belongings. It does make settling in that much easier, doesn't it? I miss you tons in Boston and if I can ever remember to buy a new memory card for my digital camera, I'll take pictures of my new place for you, which you would have seen had you been here to help me haul my stuff (well, your old stuff, my new stuff) to my new pad. :) Hee hee! Say hi to Ren-Ren for me. xoxo
